I chose to concentrate on the use of 1950’s American Housewife imagery ( a juxtaposition) 
to depict my view of women reducing men to objects of their gaze. The focal point of the artwork is a circa 1950’s housewife in a penis adorned apron loading dirty dishes with pictures of dirty old men, and one young handsome man that she fondly gazes upon. Men are pin-up trophies on kitchen cabinets with stylized ice cream cones as phallic symbols on their naked bodies. There are circa 1950’s jokes of women poking fun and belittling men. Men’s penises are displayed around the kitchen as playthings for women’s amusement.
